TIME GUARDIAN
Several times people come to me and ask me questions about my life, what I do, what I know about Time,
Questions like:
Do you know when Time started?
Do you know why Time exists?
But most important, why TIME needs GUARDIANS?

WHEN TIME STARTED
Time, like everything that exists, has a beginning. But time is different for all living things that exist in the Universe. It’s different for planets, stars, creatures; it’s different for you or me.
As a Guardian I understand why and I can explain it to you, but I can’t tell you everything, for I and all guardians do not know all the secrets of time, for there are others in the Universe that know much more and we are only the safe keepers of Time.
As I said, there are secrets in the Universe and about Time that I do not know. There are other secrets that I cannot tell you, after all they are secrets and my bond with Time forbids me. There are many things that I can speak of and explain, for they are common to all, mortals and immortals.
I was told, ages ago, by those who trusted me to be a Time Guardian that Time is the oldest living entity that exists. Yes, it is true, Time lives. I can see you are surprised at this, but I will tell you what I can.
It all started eons ago when the Universe was dark. The Legend says that a light exploded and through out the entire Universe creation was real. Time, Suns, Planets; Life was born. And here lies your first answer.

WHY TIME EXISTS
I still remember the first time I was told about the beginning of time, for me it’s as if it was only yesterday, although I wasn’t even born. But the beauty of the legend lives in me and gives strength to do my role in this circle of life.
When the Universe came out of darkness and all things were created they were with a purpose. I do not know that purpose, for that is one of the many secrets that only the chosen few know and although I’m blessed to be a Guardian of Time, there are several tasks that I still need to do, to prove myself worthy to receive such knowledge.
But allow me to continue the clarification of some doubts by trying to explain why time exists. As you may have noticed by now, Time is, simultaneously, a small and a large part of the Universe. Time as a living entity exists with a purpose and surrounds everything.
In the beginning it can be complicated to understand this but Time lives in the suns, planets, and animals; believe me, Time lives in you. So, the answer to your question is simple: If Time didn’t exist you would exist. I wouldn’t exist. Ask yourself this question: How could I exist if Time didn’t exist? How could I have ever been born if Time didn't exist?
You always knew the answer to your own question because Time is in you, deep inside you knew it. But because your purpose in the Universe is still unknown to you, your path you still need to walk, and the things you still need to learn do not let you see clearly enough to make you aware of the small details of life.

WHY TIME NEEDS GUARDIANS
I can see in your eyes that you have more questions, but like everything in life, Time will give the answers. Not directly, for life isn’t easy, you have to search and study, but more importantly you have to live. Live and you will find that the answers you seek, like Time, surround you.
You know that there is good and evil. They are opposites. Like day and night, life and death. This balance of things is called the Circle of Life. I told you before that Time lives in you and in me but it’s different for us and all things that it surrounds and the reason is simple. Time doesn’t have an opposite.
When life was created and Time started the Circle of Life was perfect until one day when death started overcoming life. This happened because evil creatures were destroying what they were not suppose to. This evil was so powerful that no one could stop it.
Through Time, life found someone that could stop these creatures but the danger of all things ceasing to exist was enormous for the battle would be to close to where Time began. It was the first and only war that evil lost, for none survived it, so powerful was the strength of the enemy they found.
Time and the Universe was saved but evil endured and those who saved us from extinction left their home to aid all those they felt needed to be saved, but they could not let that others could reach Time and they decided that Time needed Guardians.
It was then they found me, I was a child but they spoke to me as an equal and I learned what I needed to learn to become a Time Guardian. Part of their power and knowledge was passed on to me so I could find others that were worthy and together could make sure Time would never stop, for that would be the end of all things.
Now you know why Time needs Guardians, so you can live.
